Saks proprietor to purchase luxurious retailer Neiman Marcus in $2.65-billion deal By Reuters

(Reuters) -Saks Fifth Avenue father or mother HBC will purchase department-store chain Neiman Marcus in a $2.65-billion deal, the businesses stated on Thursday, giving them stronger negotiating energy with distributors and higher capability to manage prices.
